The Hunger Games
The Hunger Games is a book following the life of a 16 year-old girl named Katniss Everdeen. She is living in district 12 that is controlled by the government called the Capitol. Every year the Capitol forces each district to send one boy and one girl to fight in the deadly games called the Hunger Games, only one will survive out of all 12 districts.
This is a great book if you are interested in a dystopian society. The reader is able to build connections with the characters. There is interesting plot twists that makes you wonder if something else is going on that Katniss is unaware of. Will Katniss win the games or will she just be another tribute that dies in the games.
